Ali Hassan

UX Designer, Reutlingen

Think like a designer. Build in code.

I'm Ali, a UX designer with six years of experience inside agile product teams, working closely with engineers to ship great products. Now, as AI blurs the line between design and code, I'm increasingly prototyping in code to test ideas and ship faster.

01What I bring

Design process that doesn't stop at the canvas.

Interface craft, down to the last state

Layout, type, spacing and motion, plus the states most mockups skip: empty, loading, error, focus. All of it built into design systems engineers actually use.

Product thinking, not just screens

I write the user stories, run backlog refinement, and have stepped in as product owner and business analyst. I ask why before I ask how.

Go beyond the handoff

HTML, CSS and JS, now React and Next.js. When Figma can't answer the question, I build a working prototype that can.

AI as a multiplier

It speeds up research synthesis, ideation, prototyping and testing. The decisions about people stay with people.

03How I work

Four phases that overlap on purpose.

Real projects don’t move neatly from one phase to the next. Design, code, testing and iteration often happen together.
  1. Discover

Find the real problem. Talk to users and stakeholders before anyone opens a design canvas.

  2. Define

Turn research into stories and goals the whole team agrees on.

  3. Design

From low-fi concepts to working prototypes, testing with users and iterating with the team along the way.

  4. Deliver

Specs, QA and developer support. More and more often, building the front end or handing over a working prototype.
